Information for parents
We believe that parent input and preferences are at the centre of what is important for children with ASD. Family life (values, culture, preferences and interests) as well as child preferences and interests provide the essential elements for effective goals for all children with ASD.
Each course has one facilitator who has experienced parenting a child with ASD so that parents can feel supported and heard. The course is structured to support parents in sharing their knowledge and experience of their child in order to help team members understand what is effective for their child.
