What is 'tips'?
‘tips for autism’ is a 3-day course for teams who support students aged 5-12 with ASD. The course is free to participants who meet the criteria for attendance.
The course consists of guided activities based on your child’s strengths and interests which are completed by your team. There is plenty of opportunity for team discussion and practical application of what you learn.
The course is co-facilitated by a special education professional and a parent of a person with ASD who is also qualified as a teacher. They are both experienced facilitators with real life examples to make theory practical.
Massey University has completed a 3-year evaluation of the course.
