Usually at lunchtime Nicole requests a drink, but today she had not asked for one.
I said to Nicole, “Would you like a drink, Nicole?”
“Yes, please!” replied Nicole.
“Okay Nicole – here’s your drink!” and I passed her the drink bottle.
